In summer there is a lot of possibilities for swimming(lake Bled, lake Bohinj, welness centres in Bled and surroundings), mountain walking (Karavanke mountain chain, Julian Alps chain, or just in nature around Bled), horse riding, rafting in nearby Sava, parachuting from Lesce airport, wisiting cultural sites(Bled island, Bled castle with museum, Kranj town centre, Škofja loka Passion festival, Bled festival, Bled night, Jesenice museum of Blacksmith), shoping possibilities(Tarvisio in Italy is known for not expensive best quality Italian leather jackets,purses,… Low price shoping in Trieste which is 1,5 hour driving from Bled and of course each year there is a big fair in Bled and in Jesenice-good quality for low price), bike riding in the nature or in the mountains. In the winter many Ski resorts are opened for tourists(Kranjska Gora, Kobla, Krvavec, Bled, Tarvisio, Vogel). All are from 5 minutes to half an hour driving away from Bled. They offer ski learning classes on easier tracks so you can easily learn ski if you are not a good skier or snowboarder. In the winter there is a lot of snow so you can have a romantical christmas. Still you can go to wellness centre in Bled or to Aqua park in Bohinjska Bistrica.
